Terms of service

Last updated: June 2026.

These terms govern the coaching services we provide to you. Please read them before you buy. By purchasing a package you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Coderise Coaching is a trading name of Coderise Talent Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16561174), registered office 11 Invicta Court, Billericay, CM12 0LR. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Coderise Coaching, and "you" means the person buying our services. You can contact us at hello@coderisecoaching.com.

2. The agreement between us

A contract forms when you complete payment for a package and we send confirmation of your order. We may decline or cancel an order and provide a full refund if we are unable to provide the service, for example if it falls outside our area of expertise.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to buy our services. By purchasing, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the information you give us is accurate and your own.

4. What you are buying

You are buying the package you select, as described on our packages page at the time of purchase. Each package is a defined set of deliverables that we produce for you and, where stated, one or more live sessions. The current packages are Get Found, Get Interviews and Get Hired, and each higher tier includes everything in the tier below it.

Our coaching is a professional service designed to improve how you present yourself to recruiters and hiring teams. It is guidance and work produced for you, not legal, financial or immigration advice.

5. Orders, prices and payment

Prices are shown on our website in pounds sterling (GBP) and are payable in full at the time of purchase. Payment is taken securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.

From time to time we may offer promotional or discount codes. These are subject to any conditions stated with them, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Delivery and timescales

After you buy, we ask you to complete a short intake form and provide your CV. We begin work once we have received your completed intake. The written, produced-for-you items in your package are normally delivered within 48 hours of receiving your intake. Where a package includes live sessions, we will arrange these by email once your written work is complete. Timescales are targets and not guarantees, and may be affected by the information you provide and by matters outside our control.

7. Your responsibilities

Everything we produce is based on the information you give us, so you are responsible for providing accurate, complete and honest information, including an up to date CV and an accurate account of your experience and history. We are not responsible for outcomes that result from inaccurate or incomplete information. You agree to provide your intake promptly so that we can begin, and to attend any booked live sessions.

8. Live sessions, rescheduling and missed sessions

Live sessions are booked by agreement after purchase. If you need to rearrange, please give us at least 24 hours' notice and we will do our best to find a new time. If you do not attend a booked session without notice, or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, that session may be treated as delivered. We will always try to be reasonable and fair.

9. Upgrades

If you buy a lower tier and wish to move up, you may upgrade within 60 days of your original purchase and pay only the difference between the two package prices. After 60 days, the standard price of the higher package applies.

10. Your right to cancel

As a consumer buying at a distance, you normally have 14 days from the day after purchase to cancel and receive a refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

However, our services and produced items are usually delivered quickly and are bespoke to you. When you complete your intake and ask us to begin, you expressly request that we start providing the service within the 14 day period, and you acknowledge that:

(a) once a deliverable has been fully provided to you, you lose your right to cancel that deliverable; and
(b) if you cancel after we have started but before a deliverable is complete, you must pay for the work reasonably done up to that point.

To cancel, email us at hello@coderisecoaching.com before work begins, or as soon as possible.

11. Refunds

If you cancel before we have started work, we will refund you in full. If you cancel after we have started but before delivery, we will refund you less a reasonable amount for the work already done. Once a deliverable has been delivered to you, it is not normally refundable, because it is bespoke work produced specifically for you.

None of this affects your legal rights. If a service is not carried out with reasonable care and skill, or a produced item is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If something is not right, contact us and we will put it right.

12. No guarantee, and our relationship with recruitment

Coaching improves your chances in the open job market. It is not a guarantee of a job, an interview or any particular outcome, and no honest coach can promise that.

Our coaching is completely separate from any recruitment service. Buying coaching does not put you forward for any role, does not give you preferential access to any vacancy, and has no influence on any recruitment or hiring process operated by us or anyone else.

13. Intellectual property

The materials, frameworks and templates we use remain our property. The deliverables we produce for you, such as your rewritten CV and LinkedIn content, are yours to use for your own personal job search. You may not resell, redistribute or pass off our wider materials, templates or methods as your own.

14. Our liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, or for your job search outcomes, which depend on many factors outside our control.

Our total liability to you in connection with a package is limited to the amount you paid for that package. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

15. Data protection

We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, and your rights. Your data is used only to deliver your coaching and, where you have agreed, to email you. It is never sold.

16. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please email hello@coderisecoaching.com and we will work with you to resolve it.

17. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event occurs, we will let you know and, where appropriate, agree a revised timescale or, if the delay is substantial, offer a fair refund for work not delivered.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on our website when you bought. The latest version is always available here.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
